The miscreants on Monday created a bomb scare at the Rajasthan State Assembly complex and the High Court premises here with a threat to trigger bomb blasts.
The assembly secretariat received an email at around 11:00 am in the morning threatening to blow up the assembly complex by RDX within the next three hours. The assembly secretariat instantly informed Speaker Vasudev Devnani, who, in turn, called up Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Sharma for all necessary action by the police.

The assembly complex was immediately evacuated, the police equipped with the sniffer dogs and the bomb disposal squads swung into action, carrying out intensive searches in every nook and corner of the assembly building. However, no explosive was found in the complex until 03:15 pm, an official spokesman said.
The security personnel have also remained engaged in search operations for several hours at the high court and the subordinate district and session court, but no explosive was found there either, the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has expressed concern over the trend of threats to institutions like the state assembly and the high court.
In a statement here Gehlot said that after the bomb hoax at different places in the past, now the threat of RDX blast in the assembly complex clearly reflects on the falling (deteriorating) law and order situation in the state.
This is happening because the authorities failed to take stern action in earlier similar instances of threats, he said.
